Our passion is for grassroots football and inspiring the next generation

I love sport, all sports really. When I was younger I was a goal keeper and football has always been a great passion of mine, I enjoy watching and playing, but being able to take on a team is something of video games. I am no expert (my wife and son can vouch for that) but like my wife, my love and knowledge of the game and my management skills give me the qualities i need to manage this team and hopefully bring success, and we have a great bunch of lads here at Leafield and over the last 4 years we have seen them grow and improve.

Ever since I was a young child, I have loved football. One of my first prized possessions was a West Brom kit. I loved playing football, but was always disappointed that there were limited opportunities for girls to play the game. Often the only chance I got to play, was to join the lads for a game of footy. Fortunately things have changed over the years, meaning that more girls play football. I still love football, still support the Albion, but unfortunately no longer have the energy to play a full game. However, with my love and knowledge of the game, my management skills developed in my career I have qualities that I bring to the management team. My prime concern is the safeguarding and wellbeing of the lads. I want them to learn and develop, but more importantly I want them to play without fear, have fun, gain confidence and enjoy the beautiful game.

i have been an avid watcher and supporter of football for many years, following Birmingham City along the way. so when my son Jack decided he wanted to play for a team, Leafield was the perfect choice. I have been with the team from the start and managed them for 2 years. I decided to take a step back and focus more on helping individuals to improve their game and interaction with each other. It's great to see 16 individuals who had never met before, come together, form a real bond and support each other on and off the pitch win, lose or draw.

I love sport, mainly hockey and football. My younger brother plays and captains Leafield U15s and i've gone from watching the team every week to now helping coaching.
I love getting involved in tactics and its been great to have been given the opportunity to help coach.
The team have had three amazing seasons and we're looking forward to the next one.

I have always had a passion to play football myself.
With having 4 sons with a love of football, grass roots has been a very big part of our family life.
I feel so enthusiastic and proud to share my experience in encouraging other children to develop confidence and gain new skills in a sport that myself and they themselves love
