23/24 end of season report

The 23/24 season ended on a bit of a downer, the Colts needed to win 2 of the last three to gain promotion but came up short, the Lions took a heavy defeat away at Hillfield to end what was otherwise a promising 1st season as a team.

The weather did not help, it pretty much rained for 2 months at the start of 2024, meaning we had to squeeze in games at the end of the season.

The positives: a new team, not starting in the bottom division, put in some excellent performances and won 4 games, something very rare indeed.

we now look forward to a new season, we have recruited some new players which strengthen both teams and we are optimistic for the season ahead.
